Yerry Mina move to Manchester United collapse

Barcelona defender Mina is on Manchester United and Everton’s radar as both teams look for a successful end to the transfer window.
The Colombia international is primed to leave the Nou Camp despite only arriving from Brazilian side Palmeiras back in January.
And Catalan newspaper Sport say Mina has made a move to United his top choice if he is to leave Barcelona .
Everton have been pursuing the Colombian in the hope he moves to Goodison Park.
But United’s decision to pursue Mina, after being thwarted in their efforts to land Toby Alderweireld and Harry Maguire, has swung the pendulum their way.
There is, however, a sticking point.
Barcelona transfers: Man Utd changed mind on Mina
Sport say Manchester United are currently refusing to meet Barcelona’s asking price for the 23-year-old.
The La Liga side supposedly want £35million to let Mina go, but United are only prepared to pay £30m.
They are said to be exploring alternatives as a result in news that will boost Everton’s hopes of signing him.
For now, however, Mina has his heart set on a move to United.
But, whatever happens, the Barcelona powerhouse expects to be plying his trade in England next season.
The defender recently admitted he had failed to make the grade at the Nou Camp.
In an honest interview, he said: “I started to train alone at home.
“It is tough to watch your teammates and see the matches on TV, it was a difficult moment that I don’t wish on any player.
“There were very difficult moments that were very sad for me because I was really not doing well.
“But for the moment I am happy at Barcelona
